I’ve come to realise that financial planners are like priests, someone you can trust to confess all details regarding your finances, things that you would not tell another soul like wages, bank account balances, loan and credit cards balances and repayment amounts, value of all your assets, etc. etc. And not only that – but also your future plans.
You must tell the truth, leaving nothing out, and with this information your “financial priest” (planner) who is also bound by confidentially, will advise you on how many “Hail Mary’s” need to be done to get you to retirement heaven.
